In Loving Memory of
Maxine C. Walls
July 1, 1934 – October 7, 2021
Maxine Celeste Walls was born on July 1, 1934, in Cuddy, Pennsylvania. She was the eldest child of fifteen children born to the late Maude & Edward Walls, Sr. Maxine fell asleep in death Thursday, October 7, 2021. Maxine was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System, earning her high school diploma from Fifth Avenue High School.
Maxine was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 22, 1991 in Pittsburgh, PA at the Lovers of Freedom District Convention at Three Rivers Stadium. Maxine was definitely one
of a kind. She was a light in a dim world for many people. Always had a helping hand and a
shoulder to cry on when needed. She loved her friends and family with everything in her and
would give the shirt off of her back to help them if they were in need. She loved to laugh and
enjoyed the simple things in life.
Maxine leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children: Darressa, Leslie, Jeffrey, and Lorne
(Martha) Walls, Marena (the late Eric Kelly), and Mary (Darrin) Coleman. Her grandchildren Nakia, Jene, Celeste, Tameka, Crystal, Autumn, Janelle, Trent Jr, Antoine, LeSherai, DeJuan, William, Mary, Jeffrey Jr, Coretta, Danielle, Dennis and her special grandson Tristan along with her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Maxine’s siblings who will also miss her dearly are Nora Jean, Etta, Edward Chester (Linda)
Walls, of Pittsburgh, Pa. Craig (Cynthia) Walls of Alabama. Kevin (Beverly) Paul of Virginia. Ramon Keith (Dawn) , Melvin (Brenda), Marvin (Antoinette), Kendall and (Alicia) Paul all of Pittsburgh, Pa; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Maxine was proceeded in death by her son Trent and siblings Kenneth, Lionel, Lettie, and Dolores Walls and Joyce Stewart. Maxine was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Acknowledgements
The Walls and Paul family appreciates all the comfort, prayers and support that has been given during this most difficult time. How we yearn for the time when Jehovah will bring back all those dear to our hearts. Until then we have every confidence that the good name of Maxine Walls is indelibly inscribed in Jehovah’s memory and will remain there until he restores Maxine back to life in paradise right here on earth.
